Keeping quality tight
Once a site is developed, it comes back to be reviewed for quality assurance. Earning the nickname "Pixel Eye", I expect all sites to be precisely developed to reflect the design and the provided functionality specifications.
My QA process
It has always been a part of my role to ensure that a site is developed according to my written specifications. Sites are also reviewed in comparison to the design itself, to ensure that it most closely represents what the client expects from the design. I also review and report any functionality errors that may be present.
When reporting bugs, I am concise. Examples and steps to reproduce issues are provided, along with screenshots. This attention to detail ensures less back-and-forth between myself and development, and results in fewer reports from the client once it has been delivered.
